Measure the circumference just below the larynx (Adam's Apple), keeping your shoulders relaxed. Ideally,
roll a paper strip around the joint and use a pen to mark the point where both meet. Use a flat
ruler to measure the distance between the two points. How it Works?
THE CONSTRUCT
Firm Density Foam: The core material has a high compression rate that provides required support to the neck during everyday activities in the natural anatomical position. Reduces chances of further damage due to sudden jerks. At just 17mm thick, it has a slimmer profile to most neck braces
Nylon Stockinette: Makes it easy to wash and maintain in a typically high dirt and sweat accumulation zone
Shape: Contoured to follow the neckline and settle around the cervical spine, its aligned to the human anatomy
Adjustable: The hook and loop strap allows easy removal and adjustment of the brace as per activity and recommended support levelsBreathable Neoprene forms the base of the support and makes it usable all day long.
How to Wear?
- Make sure you order the right-sized Collar from the Size Chart below
- Be seated comfortably and make sure your neck is in a neutral position
- Open the wrap and hold the brace with the contoured cut facing the neck and fasteners facing outward
- Apply to the neck holding it at equal distance with both hands
- Shift one hand to the front to continue supporting the collar while you shift the other to fasten the strap
- Complete the strap closure and check for discomfort in breathing, if any, especially pressure on the larynx (Adam's Apple)
REMEMBER
- Please avoid wearing any jewelery or dresses with collars that will rub between the brace and your skin resulting in rashes
- Seek assistance if you are struggling when wearing the collar - it might result in you overstraining your neck
