How it Works?
THE CONSTRUCT
Elasticated Fabric: Wrap around design in a dual stretchable layer made of fabric interwoven with two- way stretch Elastic and built-in stiffners; thereby reducing chances of buckling or fold-over. Gives additional compression for the Sacral zone with overlying straps that control the pressure of the 6 stays in the back - 2 semi-rigid integrated stays and 4 removable metal stays (Aluminium).
Foam Padding: The 6 stays are housed in nylon pockets stitched onto a foam layer which keeps them aligned. It also provides padding to the back from excessive pressure exerted by the stays when bending backwards apart absorbing moisture
Breathable Neoprene forms the base of the support and makes it usable all day long.
Removable Metal Stays: Help in maintaining flexibility options for the lower back as recommended by the Doctor or Physio Therapist. The metal inserts (stays) can be reshaped to match the contours of the patient's lower back
How to Wear?
- Make sure you order the right-sized Support as per the Size Chart below
- Stand in the neutral posture with your back straightened as recommended by the Physician
- Hold the support at your back with the outer elastic straps undone and the Oppo logo facing upward
- Wrap it around your lower spine making sure the metal stays are evenly positioned around the middle and connect the fasteners on your stomach
- Check for all-round comfort
- Now, stretch the overlying side straps to adjust compression and fasten them with the closures on the sides
- Please remember to adjust straps as necessary across the day according to activity
REMEMBER
- Please wear this support above an inner wear made from a breathable fabric such as cotton to avoid rashes and allergy from day long contact
- Do not rely on the support 100% of the time
- Don't bathe with the support - it will reduce the elasticity and compression quality of the support/belt
- Never share your Orthotic supports - can lead to a transfer of infection
